Child Safety Standards

These standards apply to the Pet In Touch website and mobile applications, operated by ERPASOFTWARE LLC. Pet In Touch has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

CSAE and CSAM are strictly prohibited on Pet In Touch. Accounts, content or behavior that violate these standards may be removed, restricted or suspended, and may be reported to the appropriate authorities when required by applicable law.

What we prohibit

CSAE includes content or conduct that sexually exploits, abuses or endangers anyone under 18. Pet In Touch prohibits, including attempted or facilitated:

grooming a child for sexual activity or exploitation;
sextortion, sexual trafficking or solicitation involving a child;
sexualizing, coercing, threatening or otherwise exploiting a child;
creating, uploading, requesting, offering, sharing, storing or directing others to CSAM; and
links, instructions or communications intended to obtain or distribute CSAM.

CSAM includes any visual depiction, including photos, videos or computer-generated imagery, involving a minor in sexually explicit conduct. Apparent attempts to evade detection are treated as violations as well.

How to report a concern

In Pet In Touch, open the options menu on a profile, post, comment, story, event or message and select Report. Choose the closest available safety reason and provide relevant details. This reporting experience is available inside the app without requiring users to leave it.

Child safety concerns can also be sent to the Pet In Touch Child Safety Team at childsafety@petintouch.com. Include account names and content links or identifiers when available. Do not download, forward or attach suspected CSAM to an email.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or the appropriate child protection authority in your country.

Review and enforcement

Pet In Touch reviews reports and takes action based on the nature, severity and context of the concern. Actions may include limiting visibility, removing content, restricting features, suspending or terminating accounts, and preserving relevant records when legally required. We act on known CSAM in accordance with these standards and applicable law.

Legal compliance and cooperation

Pet In Touch complies with applicable child safety laws and responds to valid legal requests. When required by law, we preserve and report relevant information to competent authorities and cooperate with investigations. Access to sensitive reports is limited to authorized personnel with a legitimate safety or legal need.
