Account Deletion and Anonymization

You can initiate account anonymization inside Pet In Touch: open Account Settings, scroll to Delete Account, confirm the warning and submit.

What happens

Your name, email, phone, birth date, login credentials, device token, pet names, usernames, profile photos, profile biography, social links and location information are irreversibly anonymized. All active sessions are revoked. Community content that must remain coherent may stay available under “Deleted pet” without a link to your identity.

If you cannot access your account

Email support@petintouch.com from the address associated with your account. Include “Account Deletion Request” in the subject. We will verify ownership before processing the request.

Retention exceptions

Security, fraud prevention, moderation and legally required records may be retained for the minimum necessary period as described in the Privacy Policy.
